If you are not already aware of how our designs fit on your body, the Size Chart below will assist you in finding the right size for you.  If you are unclear of your own body's measurements, scroll down to the fitting model (underneath the Size Chart below) and review our instructions.  They will guide you to correctly take the measurements you need to ensure a good fit and feel in your Ellswear clothing.

INSEAM MEASUREMENT:  Our experience is that most of our short - average height customers fit well in a 32 inch inseam.  If you know that your inseam measurement is quite short or tall, and a 32 inch inseam does not work for you, please call our customer service agent with your own inseam measurement and we can customize your order for you!  (If necessary refer to our Fitting Model below to clarify your inseam length.)  As a general guideline, a "Petit-Leg" Inseam measurement is approx. 30 inches, and a "Tall-Leg" Inseam measurement is approx. 34 inches.  Note:  There is a CAN $5 fee per item for pattern customizations.

FITTING MODEL


1 - BUST

Measure around the fullest part of the bust.  Keep tape straight across back with arms at sides.
2 - WAIST Measure around the narrowest part of the waist.
3 - HIPS Measure around the fullest part of the hips, keeping the tape level and legs together.
4 - INSEAM Wear the shoes you would most commonly wear with your leggings or pants.  Have someone measure your inside leg from center crotch to slightly past your ankle bone (to the length you would like your pants to reach).
